Return, cancellation and refund policy

HableSpanish provides online Spanish tuition, exam preparation, assessments, mock exam reviews and related educational services. Most purchases are services or digital/online tuition sessions rather than physical goods.
Contact before requesting a refund
Please contact us at hola@hablespanish.co.uk as soon as possible with your order number, student name and the service purchased. We will review requests fairly and reply as quickly as we can.
Trial lessons and assessments
Trial lessons, assessments and one-off review sessions are paid in advance. If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours before the booked session. Where reasonable notice is given, we will offer an alternative appointment subject to availability.
Tuition packages and programmes
Tuition packages are paid before lessons begin. If you cancel before any lesson or assessment work has started, we can refund the unused service value, less any payment processing fees or agreed administrative work already completed. Once a programme has started, refunds are assessed based on the unused portion of the package and any preparation, lesson delivery, assessment or feedback work already provided.
Late cancellations and missed lessons
If a student misses a lesson or cancels with less than 24 hours notice, the session may be charged in full. We understand that illness and emergencies happen, and we will try to reschedule where practical, but repeated late cancellations or non-attendance may result in the lesson being treated as used.
Digital services and completed work
Completed lessons, assessments, mock exam reviews, written feedback, lesson preparation and digital educational services that have already been delivered are normally non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights where a service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill.
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Once approved, refunds are usually processed within 5 to 10 working days, although banks and payment providers may take longer to show the funds.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If you believe a service was not delivered as agreed, please contact us so we can investigate and resolve the issue.
